Shopper finds live cockroach crawling all over cake from Cedele Waterway Level
A lady was met with a rude shock immediately after buying a birthday cake from Cedele’s outlet in Waterway Level.
Inside of the cake box, she discovered a stay cockroach crawling around the pastry.

On Sunday (31 March), the consumer took to the Complaint Singapore Facebook team to air her grievances about the cockroach she found in the ondeh-ondeh cake from Cedele.

She shared that following bringing the cake household, she promptly refrigerated it.
In the responses, a netizen advised that the pest might have arrived from the time she invested on transport or purchasing.
However, the client claimed that she went to the shopping mall specially to invest in the cake. She also walked property as she lives just a site visitors light away from Waterway Place.

Describing the incident as “horrific and unhygienic”, the girl reported it was the very first time she experienced these an experience with any bakery.

In an attempt to get a reaction from the bakery, the purchaser also sent numerous messages by using e mail, WhatsApp, and Fb.

Cedele apologises & will take full accountability for customer’s working experience
Responding to MS News’ queries, a Cedele spokesperson claimed that a process mistake had caused them to forget about the consumer’s messages.
On top of that, the bakery shared that it has achieved out to the shopper the moment they realized about her inquiry.
At the moment, Cedele said it is operating to “closing the make any difference amicably” with the afflicted client.
“We apologise for the weak expertise at our Waterway Stage outlet and acquire entire accountability for the incident,” Cedele included.
The bakery also expressed its appreciation for the likelihood to rectify the difficulty.
