Logan presently has 1400 cameras, one of the biggest networks operated by a nearby governing administration in Australia.
The new cameras are funded by way of an $800,000 grant from the Australian government.
The federal treasurer and Rankin member, Jim Chalmers, explained the supply of the new cameras was evidence of the close cooperation between the regional council and federal federal government.
These new cameras are an critical and sensible demonstration of doing work together to deliver for our local community, Mr Chalmers explained.
This is all about earning our regional area safer and a lot more secure and making our neighborhood an even better place to phone residence.
