Police are investigating after a Crestmead man, 35, was allegedly bashed early this morning (16 May) by two people he knew.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said the man was driving a car along Station Road through Crestmead at around 2am when he was “flagged down by two people known to him”.
“The 35-year-old man pulled over and exited his vehicle and was involved in an altercation with the man and woman,” the spokesperon said.
“He was assaulted and sustained non-life-threatening head injuries.”
The man then sought help from a nearby Hungry Jacks on Chambers Flat Road, Waterford West a short time later, before returning to his home in Crestmead.
Paramedics then transported the man to hospital in a stable condition, with injuries to his head, arms and back.
Investigations are continuing.
