he overall rate of inflation, as measured by the National Consumer Price Index (NCPI), has increased to 2.7% in April 2024, compared to 2.5% in March 2024, according to the latest data release by the Department of Census and Statistics.
Meanwhile, food inflation has decreased to 3.3% in April 2024 compared to 5.0% in March 2024.
However non-food inflation has increased to 2.3% in April compared to 0.7% in March 2024.
